ANGUSalive Buddy Scheme
The aim of this free scheme is to support customers who require assistance in order to access our wide range of facilities.
The scheme provides the customer with the help and support they need to take part as their “buddy” can attend the session free of charge. This is renewed annually.
A letter dated within the current financial year outlining benefit will be required. These can include:
- Personal Independence Payment
- Disability Living Allowance
- Income Support
- Universal Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Employment and Support Allowance

About Angus Disability Sport
Angus Disability Sport is a registered charitable organisation. It aims to encourage, promote and develop sport and recreation throughout Angus for people of all ages with a disability, in partnership with Angus Council.
Its main objectives are to:
- introduce people of all ages with a disability throughout Angus to a wide variety of sporting and recreational activities
- create and develop sporting pathways for people of all ages with a disability to realise their full potential in sport
- develop a programme of events that satisfies the needs of local people and mirrors national and international initiatives
- recruit, support and retain volunteers and coaches
- develop effective partnerships with sports clubs, coaches, area sports councils, voluntary organisations, Angus Council, sportscotland and Scottish Disability Sport
- establish an efficient management structure, staffing and sufficient resources to enable all aims to be met.
Angus Disability Sport is open to any individual/club/group who is involved with and/or has an interest in sport and recreation for people with a disability who are based in the Angus area.
